Joshua Caballero, PharmD, BCPP, FCCP

Joshua Caballero is Chair of the Department of Clinical and Administrative Sciences, and Professor & Chair, Department of Clinical and Administrative Sciences, College of Pharmacy, Larkin University, Miami, FL. He earned his PharmD from the University of Tennessee. He completed a psychiatric pharmacy practice residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center. Dr. Caballero completed a pharmacotherapy fellowship at The Ohio State University in Columbus.

Dr. Caballero is board certified in psychiatric pharmacy and has worked extensively with diverse populations in developing and maintaining practice sites in outpatient and inpatient settings. Dr. Caballero has published in the areas of psychiatry, and most recently authored a chapter on ADHD in Pediatric Pharmacotherapy. 

 

Kevin A. Clauson, PharmD

Kevin A. Clauson is Associate Professor, Department of Pharmacy Practice, Lipscomb University College of Pharmacy & Health Sciences, Nashville, TN. He received his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Tennessee–Memphis and completed a research fellowship at the University of Missouri–Kansas City. 

Dr. Clauson is a Past Chair of the ASHP Section Advisory Group in Pharmacy Informatics Education, served as an item writer for the North American Pharmacist Licensure Examination (NAPLEX), and is a recipient of the Golden Apple Award for Teaching Excellence from Nova Southeastern University.

 

Sandra Benavides, PharmD, FCCP, FPPAG

Sandra Benavides is an Associate Clinical Director, PRIME® Education, LLC, Ft. Lauderdale, FL, and Consultant, Crescendo Pharmacy Consultants, Plantation, FL. She received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of California, San Francisco. She completed a general practice residency at the University of California, San Diego Medical Center, and a pediatric pharmacotherapy fellowship at The Ohio State University. Her clinical practice is in the area of pediatrics, and she has vast experience in a variety of pediatric settings including acute care, ambulatory care, and community practice. 

Dr. Benavides is the lead editor for Pediatric Pharmacotherapy, the first pediatric pharmacy text written for students. Throughout her years as an academician and practitioner, she has mentored many students on residency and career paths, particularly in the area of pediatrics.
